Temperatures comfortably start the day in the middle 60s under partly cloudy skies, according to Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Jesse Maag.

Warm and humid air from the southwest will bring a noticeable change into the region by the afternoon.

High temperatures will reach the upper 80s with the heat index likely topping off near 90.

We could see an isolated shower or storm, but most are expected to stay dry. Watch out for thunderstorms to wave into the region on Monday night.
