We Care Arts provides meaningful and creative work for those with physical, emotional, and intellectual challenges.

An evening of art and jazz music will benefit We Care Arts, a local nonprofit that provides meaningful and creative work for local artists with disabilities.

The We Care Arts Black and White Gala will be held Friday, Feb. 28, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Presidential Banquet Center, 4548 Presidential Way in Kettering.

Last year, We Care Arts served around 1,200 people, from programming at its main studio location - Berkeley Center in Kettering to community outreach locations. The non-profit teaches art to people with disabilities.

The annual fundraiser empowers artists and the proceeds go toward programs that support the healing power of creating and producing art that transforms physical, developmental and mental challenges into a future rich with possibilities, according to a release.

The evening festivities will include dinner, dessert and a drink ticket, jazz music by the Chuck Evans Band, painting demonstrations and a silent auction. Black and white cocktail attire is encouraged.

Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased online.
