Proto Build Bar, 534 E. First St. in Dayton, opened in 2014 near Fifth Third Field as a place where people could get creative and build hands-on projects — but with a twist.

Patrons can sip drinks from a coffee bar or from a selection of craft beers and wine while taking part in workshops available in 3D printing, soldering and more.

A menu of snacks, fresh pastries and individual pizzas help keep creativity flowing.

A wall of 3D printers and a selection of filament in rainbow colors is available for visitors to create 3D models from an online selection or a file of your own creation.
