Sushi restaurant to reopen dining room with half-priced sushi all week

Nothing says “we’re back” at Tokyo Sushi & Grill like yummy half-priced rolls.

Tokyo Sushi & Grill at 4431 Feedwire Road across the street from Costco Wholesale in Centerville announced its dining room will reopen for the first time since March starting Tuesday, Sept. 22.

“Sorry for the long wait, but we’re back! ... Please spread the words, and thank you again, hope see you all soon!" the restaurant wrote on its Facebook page Wednesday.

Who’s ready ?! We will be posting exact date for our re-opening dine in soon. Thank you all so much for supporting.

Hours are currently posted as Tuesday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.. It is closed Mondays.

In celebration of its reopening, Tokyo Sushi will run a happy hour special on drinks with $1 domestic beer, $2 house wine and $3 sake from Sept. 22-27, with 50% off sushi rolls.

The restaurant posted a sneak-peek video on Saturday, showing tables now fixed with clear dividers that will separate customers dining-in.

After Gov. Mike DeWine announced that restaurants could reopen on May 21, Tokyo Sushi decided it needed to make the hard decision to not reopen its dining room, but continue to offer take-out until it felt it could provide a safe environment for customers and staff.
