Boating and watersports
The 5,800 acre lake offers unlimited horsepower boating and features five boat ramps and many boat docks for rent. State ramps are located in Chippewa Park, Lakeview, Blackhawk Marina
and Moundwood. Skiing and tubing are popular in the open zone area. Contact Indian Lake State Park or the Division of Watercraft for information: (937)843-2717.

Fishing and hunting
Largemouth bass, saugeye, white bass, crappie, bluegill, walleye, yellow perch and catfish are plentiful here. Large wetlands known locally as the "game preserve" remain in the northeastern part of
Indian Lake. Navigational channels have been cut through this area to allow boats. The wetlands provide a unique habitat for game fish, furbearers, waterfowl and turtles. Hunting is permitted in
designated areas only. A valid Ohio hunting and/or fishing license is required.
Swimming
There are two public swimming beaches, Old Field Beach and Fox Island. There are four designated boat/swim areas, South and Little Walnut Isle, Hermit and Snow Island. There is also a boat swim area located at Old Field Beach.

Camping
Indian Lake offers over 4,000 campsites for camping. The Indian Lake State Park has 500 family campsites suitable for tents or trailers on the northwest section of the lakeshore. Electrical hookups
are available at 460 sites, with an additional 13 sites offering full-service hookups. Pet camping sites are also available. The scenic campground also offers heated shower houses, flush toilets, laundry
facility, camp commissary, along with a campers' beach, boat ramp and boat docks. Boat and bike rentals are available along with a nature center and Naturalist Program. To reserve camping or shelter

Hiking
The Cherokee Trail is a three mile easy walk through brushy habitat and is located west of the campground.
The Pew Island Trail is a one mile path that encircles Pew Island and affords a spectacular view of Indian Lake. Access is available to Pew Island from a causeway.
A three and a half mile paved bike-way also open to hikers and joggers is located on the West and South Banks between Old Field Beach and Paradise Point, Russells Point.
Drinks and eats
Tons of options, but here are a three to check out if you go:
Froggy's at Indian Lake: Resort featuring a swim-up pool bar, live entertainment every Saturday, Sunday and holidays, seasonal campgrounds, docking for your boat, nightly rentals, pub food and beverages.
Tilton Hilton: The tilt is no lie. This place is literally tilted 35 degrees. After a few beverages, this experience should be interesting. It's also known for its big cheeseburgers.
Indian Head Road House: Full bar, wine, 20 beers on tap plus craft beers. Expect traditional bar fare, plus prime rib.
