After Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump won the election in an upset, voters with political beliefs across the spectrum have acknowledged tensions among their fellow citizens.

Some say that America is divided.

In spite of serious issues, internet users have taken to social media to poke fun at the transition that will take place when Barack Obama leaves the White House and Trump assumes the role as the 45th president of the United States.

The target of most of the jokes?

Vice President Joe Biden.

Countless memes show the POTUS with the VP as the two discuss fake attempts to make fun of and prank President-elect Donald Trump before he takes office.

Most of the memes show an amused or exasperated Obama responding to Biden's jokes and foolish plans.
