That gold candy box with its red bow is none other than Esther Price Candies.

The company was started by Esther Price, who baked and sold the scrumptious delights out of her home until 1952, when she opened her first store on Wayne Avenue.

The same chocolate recipe that Price used in 1926 is the one owner Jim Day still uses today. The chocolate company, a piece of Dayton history, celebrated its 90th birthday in 2016.
