Around 2:23 a.m., a semitruck was traveling south on the highway when the driver lost control near the state Route 4 split, according to a Dayton police crash report.
The semitruck hit the guard rail and the driver overcorrected, causing the semi to tip onto its side.
A medic responded to the scene, but the driver refused treatment, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.
Dispatch records also indicated there was a hazmat situation due to a possible fuel spill.
