    Monica Kelsey, of Safe Haven Baby Boxes, the organization named for Ohio's Safe Haven lawn, receives a proclamation on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 11, 2025, from Hamilton Mayor Pat Moeller on the organization's 20th baby box in Ohio. Hamilton dedicated Butler County's first Safe Haven Baby Box at the Fire Station 22 on Pershing Avenue.     Dayton airport not on list for reduced flights considered by FAA; Cincinnati listed
    Staff Sgt. Fred E. Brown, of Hamilton, was killed on March 15, 1969, in action during Vietnam. He saved three fellow soldiers during a firefight with the enemy, then dove on a grenade thrown in their direction. He was awarded the U.S. Army's Distinguished Service Cross. He will be honored on Saturday, Nov. 8, with a dedication of a flagpole in Bailey Square. CONTRIBUTED
