Right tackle Andre Smith missed his fourth consecutive practice Thursday as he remains in concussion protocol following the blow to the head he took Nov. 1 in Pittsburgh.

Linebacker Vontaze Burfict was limited after injuring his surgically repaired left knee injury in the Cleveland game. Burfict's return was listed as "questionable" after he hurt the knee against the Browns, but he came back on the next series and finished the game.

Right guard Kevin Zeitler, who hurt his right ankle on the first play of the fourth quarter against the Browns, also was limited Thursday.

Linebacker Rey Maualuga, who left the Steelers game after two snaps with a calf injury and did not play against Cleveland, was a full participant.

The only other two entries on the practice report were non-injury related, with left tackle Andrew Whitworth taking the day off while cornerback Leon Hall worked on a limited basis.

For the Texans, linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (back) and cornerback Kareem Jackson (ankle) did not practice, while wide receiver Nate Washington (hip) was limited.
