Bengals kicker Mike Nugent credited good, old-fashioned luck for helping his field goal hit the upright in the perfect spot to allow it to carom through for a 42-yard game-winner in overtime Sunday, but famed astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson said there were other forces at work.
Tyson took to Twitter to say that had it not been for the Earth's rotation, the kick might not have been good and the Bengals might not be sitting 5-0 for the first time since 1988 with a 27-24 victory against the Seattle Seahawks.
