Bengals can clinch more than the division and bye at Denver

The Bengals can clinch their second AFC North Division championship in three years and their first opening-round bye since 1988 with a win Monday night at Denver.

But there's something else on the line that would be a franchise first:

Seven road wins.

The Bengals are 6-1 away from Paul Brown Stadium this year, tying the team record for road wins in a season with the 2012, 2005 and 1981 teams that went 6-2 in away games.

Cincinnati opened this season with four consecutive road wins, which tied the franchise record for longest road win streak within a season.

One of those wins was in the season opener at Oakland, where the Bengals had never won in 10 trips. Last week they prevailed at San Francisco, where they hadn't triumphed since 1974.

The last time Cincinnati won in Denver was 1975.
