The AFC Defensive Player of the Week was Denver cornerback Aqib Talib, who had a 51-yard interception return for a touchdown along with three tackles and two passes defended.
Bengals cornerback Adam Jones had a carer-high 10 tackles, a forced fumble and a pass defended but was not nominated. New York Jets safety Calvin Pryor had 10 tackles and a forced fumble and was nominated.
The AFC Special Teams Player of the Week was Miami punt returner Jarvis Landry, who had a 69-yard return for the game-winning touchdown in a 17-10 triumph of Washington.
