Starting linebacker Emmanuel Lamur and wide receiver James Wright missed their second consecutive practice Friday, making it unlikely either will play Monday night against Denver.

Wide receiver Brandon Tate (illness) and left tackle Andrew Whitworth (veterans day), while wide receiver A.J. Green returned to practice after sitting out sick Thursday.

Cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick (Achilles) and defensive end Carlos Dunlap (calf) were limited for the second day in a row.

Lamur has started 13 of 14 games this year and ranks second on the team with 88 tackles. Rookie Marquis Flowers could get the start. Flowers has appeared in all 14 games this year, although mostly on special teams. He has played just 10 defensive snaps since Week 7 when injuries to Rey Maualuga and Vontaze Burfict resulted in him taking 45 snaps in a 24-0 loss at Indianapolis.

"Marquis could play a little bit here," linebackers coach Matt Burke said. "Taylor (Mays) has been in my room the whole week this week in case we have to use him. Nico (Johnson) and Chris Carter. That’s what we’ve got, so we’re rolling guys in different spots trying to have a few different packages up for what we’re seeing."
