Archie Watch 2015 is over.
Florida announced the hiring of Louisiana Tech's Michael White on Thursday. According to reports, Florida's Athletic Director Jeremy Foley said he never reached out to Dayton's Archie Miller or Xavier's Chris Mack.
Flyer fans can breathe a sigh of relief. There's little chance Miller, who has said all along he wants to be nowhere but Dayton and will stay as long as UD will have him, will be anywhere but Dayton for the 2015-16 season. This was the one big job left open.
The upcoming season will be Miller's fifth. He's under contract for six more seasons after that, through the 2021-22 season.
