Here's what First Four winners Mount St. Mary's players said about taking on Villanova next

Hey, Mount St. Mary's, you just beat New Orleans in the First Four!

What are you gonna do now?

No, the No. 16 seed Mountaineers are not going to Disney World.

They won't be trying and take over the world, either, a la Pinky and the Brain... but knocking off No. 1 seed Villanova, the defending national champs, might not be much easier.

Not that the Mountaineers sounded concerned after they outlasted UNO 67-66 on Thursday night at University of Dayton Arena.

"Records are meant to be broken," freshman forward Miles Wilson said. "We're going to go and play really hard. Hopefully the ball bounces our way."

Elijah Long, a sophomore and the team's leading scorer on the season, sounded similarly unintimidated.

"I mean, at the end of the day we all played basketball it's the same size ball, same size net. It's who wants it bad. And Villanova is a great team and one thing they bring to the table is their heart," Long said. "So we just gotta match that and I think we'll be in a good position to beat them or play good down to the wire and we'll see if we can break a bracket."

After acknowledging there wasn't much else to say, 5-5 point guard Junior Robinson kept it simple.

"If the ball bounces our way, history will be broken," he said.

The Mountaineers, who call their pressing defense "Mount Mayhem," face the Wildcats at 7:10 Thursday night in Buffalo, N.Y.
