Democrats make sweeping request for information in Trump probes

A day after President Donald Trump complained again about "Presidential harassment" by investigations, Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee issued sweeping document requests to a host of figures involved in the Trump Campaign, the Trump Organization, the Trump White House, the Trump Transition, the Trump Administration, and outside figures associated with the Russia investigation led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

"Over the last several years, President Trump has evaded accountability for his near-daily attacks on our basic legal, ethical, and constitutional rules and norms," House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) said in a statement issued by the panel.

81 different people and groups were listed by the Judiciary Committee, as Nadler said the goal was to focus on obstruction of justice, corruption, and abuse of power.

The list was a veritable who's who of people involved with the President in all facets of his life - before, during, and after his successful campaign for the White House.

At the White House, the President brushed off the sweeping document request from Democrats, repeating a familiar refrain.

“No collusion, it’s all a hoax,” he told reporters during a White House event.   “It’s a political hoax.”

Here is the list of the 81 requests - sent to individuals and organizations - for information about various subjects.
