Trump rushed off stage after disturbance in Nevada rally

An evening rally for Donald Trump in Reno, Nevada was suddenly interrupted by a disturbance that prompted Secret Service agents to rush the Republican nominee off stage, though Trump returned a few minutes later after order was restored, and finished his event without incident.

The incident occurred after a protester interrupted Trump; it seemed benign, as Trump joked about whether the man was being paid by the Clinton Campaign to disrupt the event, and Trump continued on with his speech.

But about a minute later, you could clearly hear people in the crowd start screaming, with voices saying, "He's got a gun!" - as Secret Service agents rushed to protect Trump.

An hour after the event was over, the Secret Service told reporters that no weapon was found.

Trump returned a few minutes later, no worse for wear, as he thanked the Secret Service for its help.

Trump did not seem shaken by the incident, as he wound up his speech in the Silver State.

As for whether or not the man in custody really had a weapon - while it is possible, that would seem to be unlikely, given the fact that everyone must go through metal detectors to get into a Trump event.
