its “Defender of Economic Freedom Award.”

The Club for Growth, a conservative organization, gave Jordan, R-Urbana, the award for his voting record in Congress during calendar year 2014. Congressman Jordan received a score of 100 percent in 2014 and has a lifetime score of 98 percent.

The group, which is politically similar to Tea Party organizations, honors members who they believe are voting for economic freedom and pro-growth policies. This year, only 34 Members of Congress will receive the award.
