DNC Night 2 - Actor Tony Goldwyn introduces Mothers of the Movement

Actor Tony Goldwyn, who starred in "Ghost" and the television series "Scandal," spoke of his work with human rights organizations. He introduced Mothers of the Movement, a group of moms who sons were killed in gun incidents.

The group includes mothers of Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown. A video of the group aired, with them talking to Hillary Clinton. They appeared on stage to a standing ovation and a chant of "black lives matter."

Sandra Bland's mother talked of yesterday being a year since her daughter was buried. Bland said six women that were in custody died the same month. She said she was unlawfully arrested and was found hanging in her jail cell.

She started her speech praising God, saying no one would be here without him. She said she was blessed because "Sandy can still speak through her mother. And we've been blessed with the opportunity to cast our votes for a president who will help lead us down the path toward restoration and change."
