DNC Night 1 - Anastasia Somoza, disability advocate

A video aired of Donald Trump mocking a reporter who was disabled. The video showed various clips of Chris Christie and mostly Fox News correspondents blasting Trump for what he said.

Following the video, Anastasia Somoza, who has suffered from cerebral palsy and other developmental disabilities, spoke. She interned for Clinton during the 2000 Senate campaign. She took on Trump for being a bully:

"He's shown us who he really is, and I actually feel bad for someone with that much hate in their heart."

"Donald Trump doesn't see me, he doesn't hear me, and he doesn't speak for me."

Somoza boasted Clinton's bonafides as an advocate for those with disabilities. She also pushed Clinton's emphasis on education.

"As President she will continue to inspire us."
