DNC Night 3 - Jamie Dorff and Rep. Ramon Gallego on veterans issues

Ramon Gallego talked about his background as the child of an immigrant family. He served  in the military  during the War of Terrorism before becaming a U.S. Rep. He spoke about his experiences in the war, which led to a video about Jamie Dorff.

Dorff's husband was a helicopter pilot who was killed in the war. Dorff said when her husband died, the benefit paid to spouses was  $12,000. Clinton contacted her, and she began working  on raising the benefit for families who lose a family member during  combat. Clinton succeeded, getting the benefit raised to $12,000 to $100,000.
