DNC Night 2 - Lauren Manning, 9-11 survivor; Rep. Joseph Crowley, relative died on 9-11

Lauren Manning spoke of arriving at the Twin Towers and how her life changed. She suffered burns over 90 percent of our body.

She fought back after the catastrophic injuries, "I fought because I didn't want the terrorists to get one more."

"Hillary Clinton stood by me through that fight. In the darkest of days the ones who show up mean everything. She showed up. She walked into my hospital room, and took my bandeged hand. Our connection wasn't a Senator and a constituent, but person to person. I know in business you have to be tough, and I know she's tough."

"For years, she continued to call and check in. When I needed her, she was there. When our first responders needed her, she was there, when New York needed her, she was there."

New York Rep. Joseph Crowley spoke about his cousin, who died on 9-11. He immediately called his two cousins who were firefighters, he said only one made it home.

Crowley said first responders kept going to Ground Zero, even though the air wasn't safe and they didn't know it. He said Clinton was there to help pass a bill helping them.

"Where was Donald Trump? He cashed in. He collected $150 million in federal funds meant for small businesses, even though he said none of his businesses were affected. It was one of our nation's darkest days, and he was there to make a buck."

"She's what we need to defeat and destroy ISIS. I'm with Hillary, because Hillary has always - always - been with us."
