Kasich backers hire helicopter for ad spot

New Day for America, which is backing Republican John Kasich for president, hired a helicopter to fly for a new 30-second video ad. The scarlet and gray helicopter lifts off the ground and turns to reveal "Kasich" emblazoned on its side in big, bold letters.

Despite the aircraft's Ohio State University colors, it is based in southern California. Palm trees, not Buckeye trees, are seen in the closing shot.
