New Day for America Independent Media Inc. raised that money from two donors, both who gave June 30.

One was from Michael Downer, based in Pacific Palisades, Calif., an employee of the Capital Group. He gave $100,000. The other was from a Whitefish, Montana company called MMWP12 LLC. It gave $500,000.

The media organization is the second super PAC set up to support Kasich’s bid for president. The other – New Day for America – will report later today that it raised $11.1 million between April 20 and June 30 of this year, bringing combined super PAC support for Kasich to $11.7 million to date.
