Joined by Sen. Rob Portman in the Oval Office, President Barack Obama today signed a bill co-sponsored by the Ohio Republican designed to encourage energy savings in new homes and older commercial buildings, according to reports from our Washington Bureau reporter Jack Torry
Portman and Democrat Jean Shaheen of New Hampshire co-sponsored the measure which provides, among other things, incentives for owners of commercial buildings and their tenants to reduce the energy they use.
