Ohio Sen. Joe Schiavoni, who is running for governor in 2018, pitched an idea Wednesday to use the state's "rainy day fund" to fight the opioid crisis.
Schiavoni, a Youngstown-area Democrat, and state Sen. Kenny Yuko, D-Richmond Heights, introduced a bill to use $200 million to fund more treatment options and education efforts.
