UPDATED: Protester set flag on fire, then himself; 17 arrested, but no serious injuries

10:25 p.m. - UPDATE: The protester who lit the flag on fire tried to light himself on fire, according to the Cleveland Police Department. The spreading  flames caught several others on fire nearby, but quick-acting firefighters put the fire out before anyone was seriously injured.

7:37 p.m. - UPDATE: Seventeen people were arrested after protesters started to burn an American flag and a fight broke out. Officers organizes to keep protesters apart, but many ignored the dispersal order. Two officers were injured.

5:13 p.m.

Cleveland police have ordered protesters and media to disperse from East 4th Street and Prospect in Cleveland after two officers were assaulted and received minor injuries.

Cleveland PD deployed its mounted unit to control protesters while firefighters extinguished and took away a flag protesters attempted to destroy.
