Rinehart joins Callahan Financial

Rachel Rinehart has been hired at Callahan Financial Management Group LLC as a Marketing Administrative Assistant. Rachel was previously employed as an Administrative Assistant for a home builder in the Dayton area for the past two years. Rachel grew up in Franklin where she attended Franklin High School. The Callahan Financial Management Group LLC provides wealth management and retirement planning services for, families, businesses and professional athletes.

Dayton Freight Lines promotes Farmer

Dayton Freight Lines, Inc., a leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, announced that Kyle Farmer has been promoted to Service Center Manager of the Company's Kalkaska, Michigan facility. Farmer began his career with Dayton Freight as a Management Trainee at the Fort Wayne Service Center. He then became an Outbound Supervisor in South Bend IN; an Inbound Supervisor in Jackson MI and, most recently, an Operations Manager in South Bend.

Moss promoted at Community Health

Community Health Centers of Greater Dayton has promoted Dori Moss to Practice Manager of Alex Central Health Center. She will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities at this medical office. Dori brings a wealth of clinical experience and leadership to the position.

Chamber thanks retiring board members

The Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that six members of its Board of Trustees retired at the end of 2015. The Chamber thanks these members for their years of service: Eric Cluxton, Mound Development Corporation; Barry James, James Investment Research, Inc.; Abraham Katampe, IYA Technologies; Judi Law, Retired; Colleen Ryan, Vectren Energy Delivery of Ohio, Inc. and John Winch, Nidec Minster Corporation. The Chamber Board of Trustees consists of up to 50 community business leaders who carry out the business of the Chamber according to its bylaws.

McCrary promoted at Dayton VA

The Dayton VA has announced the promotion of Marna McCrary, RN, MS as the new Chief Nurse for the Community Living Center. Marna began her VA career in 1998 in the Dayton VA Medical Center subacute unit. Prior to joining the Dayton VA, Marna worked as a nursing assistant at the Saint Elizabeth oncology unit. Marna graduated from Wright State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1996 and obtained a Master's Degree as a Clincial Nurse Specialist from Wright State University in 2006.
