Kettering company to expand, hire 60 new employees

An advertising technology company in Kettering is expanding its headquarters and hiring an additional 60 employees in the next few months.

Vivial, formerly named Berry Co., is expanding its headquarters at 3100 Research Blvd. to include a new outbound call center. The company will also hire 60 new full and part-time positions in the upcoming months.

“The demand for our services from small and medium sized businesses continues to grow as does our commitment to the Dayton community,” said Jim Continenza, chairman and CEO of Vivial.

The Kettering company long-known for producing the Yellow Pages and various online directories announced the change internally to employees Wednesday.

Vivial changed its named back in June. Derived from the adjective “convivial,” the new name embodies technology, engagement, according to a company spokeswoman.

In 2014, the company then known as Berry moved its headquarters to 3100 Research Blvd. in Kettering in a 52,000-square-foot facility, after more than 50 years in Moraine. The former Berry Co. serves about 130,000 advertising clients in all 50 states.
