New BBQ restaurant coming to downtown Miamisburg

The locally based OinkADoodleMoo barbecue chain has signed a lease to open a restaurant at 40 N. Main St. in downtown Miamisburg, owner Steven Meyer said today, Jan. 4.

The 1,200-square-foot space is located in a new strip center across Main Street from Bullwinkles Top Hat Bistro and an American Legion post, Meyer said.

The restaurant will seat about 40 and will employ about 10, Meyer said. It could open by the end of January, he said.

Meyer said he was impressed with the activity in downtown Miamisburg, including the recent re-opening of the Miamisburg Plaza Theatre following a renovation project.

OinkADoodleMoo, founded in Englewood in 2009, operates locations in the Randolph Plaza in Clayton, downtown Dayton and Richmond, Ind. Locations in Huber Heights and Kettering closed in 2015.
