New home restoration store opens in Waynesville

After three years of road trips across the United States with her father, Lauren Lepley is ready to show off the household hardware she has collected.

She opened Village Salvage today in Waynesville at 85 S. Main St.

The store, which will feature everything from home hardware, windows, doors, baseboards and other items salvaged from torn-down homes, has been Lepley’s dream.

“We’ve travelled around and filled up my dad’s barn with everything someone needs for a home restoration project,” the small business owner said.

The store will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. It’s two doors down from her family’s other store — Waynesville Antique Mall — in this small Warren County village.

Chris Asher will manage the store as Lepley continues her travels to keep supplying the store.
