New store opens in Miami Valley Centre Mall

PIQUA — Rustiques, which operates a shop in the Upper Valley Mall in Springfield, on Tuesday opened a second location inside the Miami Valley Centre Mall in Piqua.

The store, which says it offers “everything to decorate your country home,” occupies 2,300 square feet and has six employees, co-owner Tammy Moorman said. It offers a large selection of curtains, braided rugs, battery-operated candles, primitive decor, and gift items.

Moorman said there are no plans to close the Upper Valley Mall store, which opened in 1999. “It’s still performing well,” she said of the flagship Rustiques store.
