New urgent care clinic to open in Centerville area

Yoga Navayogarajah, operations manager, said Medix chose its location based on a growing community need.

“We want to serve the community in Centerville and Washington Twp. This is a heavily populated area,” he said.

Dr. Shahila Nava, who has 13 years in urgent care experience, will serve as the medical director.

“Our mission is to provide the highest-quality medical care and patient satisfaction. From spring 2016, our clinic will expand its services to include occupational health. Medix will be staffed by board certified physicians,” Navayogarajah said in a release.

The facility will be open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
