Lamb will report to Bob Brockman, Reynolds chairman and chief executive, Reynolds said in an announcement. Previously, Lamb was Reynolds senior vice president, sales.
Previously, there was no one in the vice chairman role, a company spokesman said.
Lamb has been with Reynolds for nearly 20 years in sales and marketing leadership positions. He has served as general manager of the company’s web solutions business. And he was named vice president of sales in 2005; senior vice president of sales in 2008.
In the company’s statement Brockman said Reynolds’ 2010 showing was “stronger this year and it appears the automotive industry has stabilized from two years of recession, and dealerships largely are operating more effectively and profitably.”
The company did not provide figures. Reynolds is privately held and does not publicly report earings.
Based in Kettering, the company has about 1,300 local employees. It also has operations in Houston and College Station, Texas, and Celina, Ohio.
