Store closing at Mall at Fairfield Commons

The Lane Bryant clothing store at the Mall at Fairfield Commons will close permanently by the end of business this Saturday, June 21, mall officials said Tuesday.

A store manager confirmed the store will close and referred questions to the company’s media-relations office. Voicemail messages left with two Lane Bryant officials Tuesday were not returned as of this morning.

The closing comes three weeks after Lane Bryant announced what it called a “grand opening” of its store at The Greene Towne Center, also in Beavercreek.

A Lane Bryant store was one of The Greene’s original tenants, and the store there recently relocated from 4422 Cedar Park to 60 Plum St. within the retail development and reopened on May 29. The new Lane Bryant store occupies 5,134 square feet and is slightly smaller than its previous location, officials at The Greene said.
