Timeline: Jeffrey Fowle's North Korean detainment

Jeffrey Fowle, a West Carrollton resident and former City of Moraine employee, was released by North Korea on Oct. 21 after more than five months of detainment. He was arrested in May and accused of leaving a Bible in a public place. Fowle's family and officials worked for months to obtain his release, and many were concerned that his detainment could could be long-lasting.
