New Beavercreek restaurant to sell subs for $1 today

Limited time discount part of grand opening celebration

Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwich Shops is celebrating its Beavercreek location’s grand opening with a deal for your pocketbook.

The shop at 2476 Commons Blvd. will sell sandwiches for $1 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23.

The deal will be limited to one per person and good for in-store purchases only. Jimmy John’s sandwiches generally cost between $3.80 and $5.80.

The J.J. Gargantuan is the exception at $7.80. It includes "tons of genoa salami, sliced smoked ham, capicola, roast beef, turkey and provolone, jammed into one of our homemade French buns then smothered with onions, mayo, lettuce, tomato and our homemade Italian dressing."

Founded in Illinois in 1983 by then 19-year old Jimmy John Liautaud, Jimmy John’s now has more than 1,700 corporate and franchised locations in 43 states.

The Beavercreek Jimmy John's officially opened last November. It is one of six locations in the Dayton area.
