When the Mexican restaurant chain made its announcement, company officials said the targeted restaurants would close by September. But the Qdoba location at 9220 Allen Road in West Chester and at 6173 Glenway Road in west Cincinnati are among those that have closed, according to the Qdoba Cincinnati Facebook page.
A patron of the Glenway Road location posted on the Facebook page that the restaurant was closed as of July 9. Six other Qdoba locations in the Cincinnati area — including a second in the West Chester area at 7687 Doc Drive — remain open, according to the Qdoba Cincinnati web site and to a manager at the second West Chester location.
Wheat Ridge, Colorado-based Qdoba is owned by the San Diego-based Jack in the Box restaurant chain.
