Robert Loggia, an actor who appeared in many big box-office movies, has died at age 85 after suffering from Alzheimers disease for the past five years, according to Variety magazine.
Loggia was nominated for a Supporting Actor Oscar for his role as a private detective in “Jagged Edge” in 1986.
Other film credits include: “An Officer and a Gentleman,” “Prizzi’s Honor,” “Independence Day,” “Problem Child,” and “Scarface.”
