The event will take place at The Little Art Theatre in Yellow Springs on Dec. 5-7, with the VIP pre-show beginning at 5 p.m. and the sing-a-long show commencing at 7 p.m.
Despite the movie’s age, it still remains one of the most popular rock operas of all time (and the first of its kind, at that). And Neeley, a composer, also had roles in 2012’s “Django Unchained,” 2016’s “Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival” and the 1981 TV version of “Of Mice and Men.”

Audiences will have a chance to sing along with Neeley as they watch the 1973 musical-turned-film. Don’t know the lyrics by heart? No problem! Lyrics will be available on the screen for everyone to join in.
For those who desire an opportunity to chat with Neeley before the start of the show, the VIP package, though selling out fast, will be available to those willing to spend $175 per ticket. Aside from meeting Neeley in person, a VIP pass will give you early entrance into the theater, a reserved seat in the “best possible viewing area,” a tote bag, a poster and a signed CD.
