Luke Combs recently talked about an experience he had in New York City when he wanted to go by a Rolex watch.

The woman working at the store made it sound like ‘you can't just walk in and get one of those.’

"So I told her, 'It's fine. I can go get it somewhere else. I'm playing Madison Square Garden tonight and I really wanted to wear it on stage.' [Then she said,] 'Well, I think we might have one in the back.'"

My mind automatically went to the scene from Pretty Woman where they also denied helping her based on her looks:
