Dates: Sept. 29-30, 2007 Description: Celebrate the harvest season and all things apple. Ken Ullery's antique Gaar-Scott stem engine provides the power to simmer apple butter in huger copper kettles. Apple dumplings, Dutch oven baked apple pies, freshly pressed cider, roaster almonds and kettle korn fill the farmyard with wonderful aromas. Make a floppy paper hat or other crafts in the children's activity area. There will also be draft horse or tractor pulled wagon rides through the south pasture, rope spinning and wood turning demonstrations are scheduled throughout the day.
