The 2016 Dayton Celtic Festival is still months away, but today the popular festival's managers announced an exciting first headliner.

We are so excited to announce We Banjo 3 are returning to the 2016 United Irish of Dayton Celtic Festival as Trad Headliners!

"Celtgrass" band We Banjo 3 made their debut at last year's Celtic Festival ... and were a huge success, and the Dayton Celtic Festival announcement today that the Galway, Ireland lads were returning to the Gem City this summer was met with great enthusiasm.

The festival also announced Irish music quintet Goitse  and Irish rock all-sister group Screaming Orphans as two first-time festival headliners. We can't wait to hear who else will be bringing the crowds to their dancing feet this summer.

The 2016 Dayton Celtic Festival will run July 29- July 31 at RiverScape Metropark. While we wait for more updates, check out our photo gallery from 2015's rollicking festival.
