Stand back Superman, take a break Batman — Elmo and the Fabulous Five will save the day.
When Super Grover loses his superpowers, Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Telly Monster, Zoe and her pet rock Rocco come to the rescue during “Sesame Street Live: Elmo’s Healthy Heroes.” The Muppet heroes take to the stage at Hara Arena from Oct. 30-Nov. 1 for five shows.
The Broadway-style musical production focuses on healthy habits as Elmo and the Fabulous Five sing and dance while they teach lessons about the importance of exercise, nutrition, sleep and hygiene. All the while they help their furry friend put the “super” back in Super Grover.
What should first-time showgoers and their parents expect at a “Sesame Street Live” performance?
• The show is designed for children ages 1-6 and their families
• Show length is about 90 minutes, including intermission.

Elmo’s Healthy Heroes has a local connection as Lebanon native Jessica Kaiser is a cast member. Kaiser, who plays Kay and Ernie in “Sesame Street Live” performances, decided to become a performer at age 14.
“My favorite aspect of performing is that you can do it at any level – Broadway or community theater – and you can touch someone’s life,” Kaiser said. “That’s how success should be measured.”
