Val Beerbower, a Downtown Dayton Partnership spokeswoman, said a local trivia host will be on each of the RTA’s four Flyer shuttle buses.

“It will be kind of open,” Beerbower said. “You can hop on and hop off at any time.”

The event is part of First Friday. It was organized by the partnership, a nonprofit organization that provides business development, advocacy and marketing and other service to businesses in an area that includes the Oregon District and downtown Dayton.

“I love to support our Dayton arts community, and I think the Flyer is a cool idea,” Lumpkin said. “I love to share trivia with people if they are expecting it or if they are not expecting trivia.”

Prizes for the Flyer trivia will range from small items to $25 gift cards to downtown businesses for tougher questions, Beerbower said.

The Flyer, a free circulator bus launched Nov. 9, runs on a continuous loop that stretches from Monument Avenue by RiverScape MetroPark to Irvin Avenue by the University of Dayton.

A map to the Flyer's route can be found on RTA's website and in some downtown businesses.
