A local burger shop is offering a special deal on a potential hangover cure — for those whose hangovers are treatable with a breakfast sandwich, anyway.

Wayback Burgers, which operates a restaurant inside the Mall at Fairfield Commons in Beavercreek, will offer a buy-one, get-one-free “AM Cheeeesy” breakfast sandwich, available all day at participating restaurant locations nationwide on New Year’s Day, according to a Wayback release.

The AM Cheeeesy breakfast sandwich consists of slices of American cheese, bacon and eggs sandwiched between an inverted, toasted bun — “a completely irresistible combination, especially for those with headaches and hangovers,” Wayback officials said. The offer is valid all day on Jan. 1, while supplies last, and there is a limit of one BOGO offer per person.

“We’re pleased to offer the perfect remedy for guests looking to recover after ringing in the new year,” John Eucalitto, president of Wayback Burgers, said in a release. “Our AM Cheeeesy breakfast sandwich is the best way to cure any craving come Jan. 1, and we invite guests to come in and chow down to celebrate the new year.”

The Connecticut-based burger chain opened its first Dayton-area location in May inside the Beavercreek mall.
