Mother’s Day Deal: Free admission for moms at the zoo on Sunday

Two zoos a short drive away are offering moms free admission on Sunday for Mother’s Day.

What could be cuter than animal moms with their precious babies? 

Here’s what to know about the deals at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden and the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.

In celebration of Mother’s Day, the zoo is offering free admission to mothers and grandmothers accompanied by one of their children/grandchildren (of any age).

What: Mother’s Day at the Columbus Zoo

Where: 4850 Powell Road, Powell 

When: Sunday, May 12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Cost: $9 for children 3-9, $14 for children 10 and older. Free for moms and grandmothers on Mother’s Day with a paid child admission.

Celebrate Mother’s Day with the special women in your life and your favorite animal moms during Zoo Babies, now on view. Every mom who comes to the zoo on Mother’s Day will get in for free.

What: Mother’s Day at the Cincinnati Zoo

Where: 3400 Vine St., Cincinnati

When: Sunday, May 12, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Cost: Adult tickets are $17 for adults ages 13-61 and child/senior tickets are $11 for ages 2-12 or 62+. Moms get in free for Mother’s Day. Parking is $10. Ticket prices increase at the gate.
