Every year, since 1929, the Christ Episcopal Church has been serving hot, warm, fluffy waffles, and the tradition continued today during the church's 86th Annual Waffle Shop event.

The event includes sausages, soups, baked goods, as well as a raffle, bazaar, live music and more.

The Waffle Shop is the church's largest fundraiser and it serves about 1,500 people.
The church distributed  $18,000 in outreach grants as the result of last year's event.
