Restaurant will give away free BBQ on its new patio for Fourth of July fireworks

Now here is a way to pre-game Fourth of July fireworks: free barbecue on a new patio.

Table 33, 130 W. Second St. in downtown Dayton, will offer a free BBQ buffet from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, July 3, according to a Facebook event.

The Dayton Fourth of July celebrations, Lights in Flight, starts at 5 p.m. at RiverScape Metropark. Fireworks start around 10 p.m.

Donations will be suggested for the buffet with proceeds going to UpDayton.

The nonprofit aims to spur economic growth in the Dayton by attracting and retaining creative people ages 40 and younger.

The party, an introduction to Table 33’s new patio, will also include live music by Mark Gibson, drink specials and a cornhole tournament.

The patio party will feature beer from Toxic Brew Company.
